Step 1: Login to the online registration site, eAYSO and print TWO copies of the forms. New players use ‘1046’ in the region field during the online signup process.
If you have any issues with eAYSO, please call 866-588-2976 for assistance.
Step 2: Review the information and correct if necessary. If you have a buddy request, please use the sibling box (we cannot guarantee buddy requests, but we do try to honor them), sign both copies of the form and attach a check for the player fee*made payable to AYSO 1046. A copy of your child’s birth certificate is required if they are a new player to our region.
Step 3: Return form and check to one of the walkup registration sites (please see the main page for walkup registration information) or mail forms to the AYSO 1046 Registrar (P.O. Box 10865 Tempe, AZ 85284-0015).
A note on player age divisions - U5's are our youngest players, they are all 4 years old at the start of the fall or winter seasons (therefore they are U5 or "under" 5 years old). U6's can be 4 or 5 years old - they are "under" 6** At the U8 level, players can by any age "under" 8. So they're normally 6 and 7 year olds, but a very skilled 5 year old can also play in the U8 division. The same general rules take place for U10, U12, U14 and up... The eAYSO registration system will place the player in the correct age division, make a note on the registration form if your child would like to play "up" a division.
**AYSO and most other soccer organizations in the US set the players age on Aug 1 each year and then do not change it for a full year
The Fall portion of the 2011/2012 season starts in September 2011
Player Registration Fees for the winter portion:
- Apr 15, 2011 to Aug 13, 2011 - $95 Early Bird Discount
- Aug 14, 2011 to Sept 1, 2011 - $120 Regular price, (there may be some full divisions on Aug 14, so don't wait to register)
- Sept 2 to - $135 ($15 uniform expedite/ship fee) many full divisions (players may not recieve uniforms until after the first game)
Player registration fee includes jersey, shorts, socks, 8 to 10 games (depending on the season), pictures, players to provide shin guards and correct size soccer ball, cleats are optional but some type of athletic shoes are needed
Volunteers are also needed, if we don't get enough coaches/referees then we can't build as many teams and some players (normally in the later stages of registration) may not be able to get on a team
